Chadia El Mansouri was interested in how a cultures depicts femininity and how that affects a woman’s views of herself, her role and her abilities. She is also interested in the spiritual symbolism attached to women.

 Joudy Dahan's art was about process. She repeated non referential images as a way to work past what she perceived as a socially imposed aesthetics, to find her unique aesthetic language. Judy was influenced by Marcel Duchamp and aspired to think and create art that was beyond what she believed where normal perceptions in her culture.
